This song was written by Mack David and it was recorded by Patti Page, Dean Martin, and LeRoy Holmes. Elvis was 19 when he recorded it Sept. 10, 1954 at Sun Records and reportedly Marion Keisker added a verse to Elvis’ version and Buddy Cunningham played drums (really an empty records box). RCA reissued the single along with 4 other Sun singles in 1955 and it reached #74 on the Billboard Top 100 chart in October 1956, staying there for 6 weeks. It is the B-side to Good Rockin’ Tonight.
